The purpose of this research is to find out the extent to which disciplinary punishment is compatible with the administrative violation in the Qatari Administrative Court.

The Department aimed at establishing a general disciplinary system to punish the offending employee by determining the types of disciplinary penalties and indicating disciplinary violations.

In order to ensure that the public facility operates regularly and steadily, and to achieve the positive results of the disciplinary system, the disciplinary authority in imposing disciplinary penalties must take into account the proportionality of these penalties with the administrative irregularities in order to achieve the desired result of discipline in terms of effectiveness of management and security of staff.

This research shows a set of provisions related to the proportionality of the disciplinary penalty with the administrative violation in the Qatari judiciary, by clarifying the development of the principle of proportionality and what proportionality and the basis of proportionality between the disciplinary punishment and administrative violation
