The issue of the development of fire risk insurance accidents is one of the important topics because it is considered a source of safety and reassurance to the insured of the risk of fire by addressing the phenomenon of increasing the risk of fire and its spread and how to reduce and secure this risk.

The National Insurance Company in Iraq is considered a leader in the field of fire risk insurance since its foundation until now.

The aim of the research is to study insurance from fire risk in Iraq in light of the unstable situation in Iraqi society and to introduce the information content of fire insurance.

The main research problem was the increase in claims for compensation due to the large number of accidents and dangers related to the fire, due to changes in the requirements of life.

The hypothesis was established that there are statistically significant relationships, correlations and effects between insurance premiums and fire insurance compensation as the relationship between premiums and compensation compensation for fire risk for the period (2004-2018) was analyzed and the correlation coefficient and simple regression were found using the SPSS.
