This study sheds light on the quantitative spatial distribution of commercial services in the city of science in a field study, with the aim of revealing the importance occupied by the commercial function in the city, and it has been shown through this study that the commercial units have grown and expanded in their large form in their preparation, but differentiated between One neighborhood and another, according to the population of the neighborhood, and its location within the commercial center and between the stages in which it grew, in order to know the reasons for the variation of its quantitative spatial distribution between residential neighborhoods.

As a result of the major developments witnessed by the study area during the recent years, and the result of the large and continuous increase in the population in the study area, and the increase in demand for commercial services of all kinds, which occupied the central sites in the neighborhoods (Western yield, municipal district, Owejila, eastern return) which spanned The length of the main streets and their attractiveness to shoppers in large numbers inside and outside the city.

Therefore, this study came to reveal the reasons for the difference in its quantitative spatial distribution between all residential neighborhoods and try to explain these reasons.

In the conclusion of the research, a number of conclusions related to the topic were reached, which include its positive and negative aspects, on the basis of which a set of proposals was developed that we hope to appoint decision-makers to develop from the level of commercial services in the city of science and work to improve their performance in the future.
