During his development, the child is exposed to different language disorders, developmental or acquired, affecting both comprehension and expression, and including aspects of language in terms of form, content and function.

This paper aims to demonstrate the importance of early detection of communicative disorders in preschool children, to facilitate the diagnostic process and guarantee the quality and effectiveness of care.

We have chosen here to expose the CHEVRIE-MULLER language and behavior questionnaire QLC_3.

5 as a screening tool for language and/or behavioral disorders, wich requires taking care of the child individually by doing necessary examinations to reach the accurate diagnosis and present him to the speech therapist to start the care process earlier.

This questionnaire helps observing the child in the usual situation in the kindergarten by the educators, and it has been chosen for its suitability for the Algerian environment and its ease of use by practitioners.

Specific Language Impairment (SLI) is the most prevalent developmental disorder among linguistic and communicative disorders in childhood.
