Population change maps were prepared and designed using the Arc Gis 10.7.1 program, based on recent population data for the years (2010, 2014, 2018), The study examined two methods of mapping representation of population change, which was represented by the method of double graphical columns and the method of divided relative circles.

This is to analyze and explain the numerical and relative distribution of the population in Nineveh Governorate.

The study found that the population change in the governorate from 2010 to 2014 was going towards an increase in all administrative units, In 2018, however, it decreased in the administrative units that were occupied by ISIS terrorist gangs.

Meanwhile, it increased in the administrative units that the ISIS terrorist gangs did not enter.
