We retry in our research (Mechanisms for monitoring the abuse of protection in international humanitarian law( to highlight the supervisory and preventive mechanisms for the application of international humanitarian law and its effectiveness in reducing the abuse of protection during armed conflicts.

In this regard, we concluded that the obligation of the provisions of international humanitarian law remains subject to the respect of the States parties to the conflict.

This respect is not only the responsibility of States, but the target groups must respect and respect the provisions of international humanitarian law.

Which requires the existence of monitoring and preventive mechanisms to ensure the extent of respect and seek to impose sanctions on those who abuse the protection, but these mechanisms related to the extent of actual and field embodiment of the arrangement of international responsibility to anyone who violates the provisions of international humanitarian law.

Mechanisms to control the abuse of protection include preventive mechanisms, which are the commitment of States to the provisions of international humanitarian law, the obligation to disseminate the rules of international humanitarian law, the qualification of qualified personnel to facilitate the application of international humanitarian law and the appointment of legal advisers to the armed forces.

The monitoring mechanisms are the International Committee of the Red Cross, Protection and alternatives, the mechanism of the commissions of inquiry and the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission.
