الملخص الإنجليزي

This study comes to determine the extent of the success of the national reconciliation in Algeria in achieving three important dimensions: peace and transitional justice.

The Algerian state, which has known an original civil war over its name as the national tragedy, claimed the lives of nearly 200, 000 Algerians, in addition to material losses exceeding 30 billion $.

I knew a law of reconciliation that some viewed as an example worthy of emulation worldwide, while it was seen as a dedication to imposing the dominance of the victor over the defeated party.

This study concluded that the national reconciliation in Algeria is a reconciliation of balances, and it is implementing what was called by its architect, former President Bouteflika, when he confirmed it on August 14, 2005 saying that it is a reconciliation of "balances", that is, it is only a natural secretion of the balance of power Within the Algerian political system, between the various wings of power.
