The orientalists in the case of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) made their difference between fair and unfair.

Some of them saw in the revolution of Imam Hussein, that it was a military position during which the majority overcame the few and the organization over the improvisation without paying attention to the tests of divine providence, its secret and its overlap in this event that changed the course of history.

Radically Islamic, while others saw him (peace be upon him) as a figure who occupied a prominent place among Muslims through his adoption of the policy of oppression, stripping his opponents of the Umayyads, and adopting the methodology of fair orientalism compared to the approach of many Muslim historians in studying Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
