The noise pollution problem is an important environmental problem that is no less dangerous than other environmental problems, as it affects the comfort and health of the human being, both physical and psychological, as well as its effects on human performance and productivity in a clear way, which requires attention to it to reduce its negative effects on the residents of the city of Kirkuk.

The research reached a measurement of the levels of noise pollution in the city of Kirkuk and its spatial variation, and the city was divided into four regions according to the severity of the pollution, as the sources of pollution increased in the city center due to the concentration of markets, workshops and transport routes, and decreased in the neighborhoods located on the outskirts of the city and parks And parks, as well as knowing its sources of noise pollution and the resulting effects, and then providing solutions to reduce the harms of this phenomenon.
