This study aims to find out how members of sports forums in Salah al-Din Governorate rely on social media sites to develop their own capabilities, and to identify the importance of relying on members of sports forums for social media sites and how to develop their own capabilities, as well as to identify the cognitive, behavioral and emotional effects.

The researcher adopted the survey method through the questionnaire tool by means of a comprehensive inventory (intentional sample).

The research community and its sample are represented by the members of sports forums, whose number is (216) divided into (15) forums in the districts of Salah al-Din Governorate, by depending on the results of the study that achieve the research objectives, the most important: 1.

Achieving of the social media sites, (Facebook) got a percentage (86.6% ), (WhatsApp) got a percentage of (66.7% ), and (YouTube) at (36.1% ) concerning favorite sites of the search community.2.

The results of the field study of the members of the sports forums proved that the emotional effects greatly affected them at a rate of (80% ), while the behavioral effects got a percentage of (76.91% ), and the cognitive effects came at the last level with a percentage of (74.88% ).
