The objective of the study is to know the noise levels within the school environment and to determine the most influential sources on the study area and to know the spatial difference on the effect of noise pollution between residential neighborhoods within the study area.

Deferent measurements were taken to specify noise levels and damages, which could influence school students and the symptoms that appear on them as a result of continuous exposure to noise.

Measurements were taken with a device called (Decibel) which started from November 2020 to March 2021.

The study sample consist of (15) schools was selected out of (60) different schools randomly between the schools of the study area, the measurements were taken inside the classroom during the lesson, during the break and the external environment outside the school fence.

The study showed that all schools in the city of Hit suffer from medium noise because of the health ban resulting from several sources that were mentioned in the questionnaire form.

A large number of the students and educational staff agreed on this.

The highest levels of noise were recorded in primary schools.

As for intermediate and secondary schools, the percentage of the noise is relatively low compared to primary schools, and the noise levels in the city of Hit exceeded the permissible limits of the World Health Organization (WHO).
