The aim of the current research is to identify (the effect of the strategy of "SWOM" on fourth-grade students' academic achievement and the development of mathematical strength on them.

In light of the aim of the research, the researcher formulated null hypotheses, and in order to verify the goal and hypotheses of the research, the researcher chose Khalid bin Al-Walid Preparatory School for Boys of the Salah al-Din Education Directorate - Tikrit Education Department intentionally as a place to conduct her experiment in it, and randomly chose the two divisions (B and C) to represent the two research groups.

The experimental and control group, and randomly also, the division (c) was determined to represent the experimental group to study according to the SWOM strategy, and division (b) became the control group to study according to the usual method, and after excluding a number of students who failed statistically, the number of students of the research sample became (64 Student The experimental group includes (32) students and the control group includes (32).

Equivalence was checked between the two groups of research in the variables of the IQ test, the chronological age of students calculated in months, the academic achievement of the parents, the students 'previous academic achievement in mathematics, the mathematical strength test.

The experiment was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2017-2018), and the researcher taught the two research groups on her own, with five lessons per week for each group.

The researcher prepared for the two groups of the research after verifying the validity of its content, presenting it to specialists, and applying it to an exploratory sample to ensure the clarity of its paragraphs and ensure its stability by adopting the Alpha Cronbach method, and its psychometric properties (discriminatory strength, difficulty factor, effectiveness of alternatives) were also verified.

As for measuring the mathematical strength, the researcher prepared a test consisting of (10) items, and the researcher made sure of the veracity of its paragraphs after presenting it to specialists and applying it to an exploratory sample to find the psychometric properties (discriminant coefficient).

He also found the test reliability coefficient using the alpha - Cronbach equation.

The researcher also used a number of statistical methods, including the T-test for two independent samples (Test-T) to reward the two groups and to find out the significance of the difference between them, the Alpha Cronbach equation to calculate the reliability coefficient for the achievement test, the mathematical strength test and the chi-square equation to verify the parity of the two research groups in the educational attainment of the parents, and the results showed: 1.

The experimental group students who studied using the SWOM strategy outperformed the control group students who studied by the usual method by testing achievement with a statistically significant difference, at a significance level (0.05).2.

The experimental group students who studied using the SWOM strategy outperformed the control group students who studied by the usual method by examining the mathematical strength at a significance level (0.05).3.

There is a statistically significant difference between the scores of the experimental group students who studied using the SWOM strategy on the mathematical strength test pre and post.

In light of this, the researcher reached a number of recommendations and proposals.
