This study is concerned with examining the legal nature of the contract to erect the electrical station, as the idea of the research revolves around the study of one of the contract models that are not named legally.

About the contract for supplying electrical energy to residential stores, as it is considered a public utility service.

The study was divided into two topics.

The first topic deals with what is the contract for installing the electrical station through its definition, its characteristics, parties and legal adaptation, and in the second topic we examined how to conclude a contract for erecting the electrical station and the implications of it from the contractor's obligations and the employer's obligations in the contract to install the electrical station.

And we reached the most important conclusion, which is that the work of erecting power stations contains two parts of the works, namely construction works that include establishing foundations for equipment that generates electrical energy in addition to administration buildings, stores and services, and works that install power generation equipment, whose requirements are determined by how to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.

The electrical stations are also varied, as there are gas stations, steam stations, water stations, and nuclear stations, and the exploitation is envisaged to occur in a generator set or a group of generators in a residential neighborhood as we see today in Iraq, so the owner of the generator imposes prices that can be subject to exploitation in terms of the consumer's need for electricity service Especially when the main source of supply is cut off in the ence of state control over the generator owners.

After that, we proposed some recommendations, the most important of which is the Iraqi legislator's recommendation to legislate a law for setting up electrical stations because of the problems that consumers face in this field regardless of their parties (the consumer, the owner of private generators, and the state as the owner of electric power plants) in line with the prevailing economic situation in the country.

Availability of capabilities We recommend the responsible authorities in the state to conclude an electric energy investment contract with foreign countries with high potential in this field, and to take advantage of the solar energy available in Iraq, because of its public interest.
