Recently, interest in social entrepreneurship has increased due to its impact on social change.

Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of five indicators of social entrepreneurial intention (empathy, moral obligation, self-efficacy, perceived social support and prior experience in social work) on the social entrepreneurial intention of Business Administration students in the Sultanate of Oman.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to business administration students using the stratified sample method in three institutions of higher education in the Governorate of Dhofar (Dhofar University, College of Applied Sciences, and College of Technology).

To test the hypotheses of the study, multiple regression analysis was utilized using SPSS.

The study results show that the level of social entrepreneurship intention is high among university students.

Out of five, only experience and perceived social support were found to have a positive and statistically significant effect on social entrepreneurial intention.

Recommendations were made in light of the discussion of the findings.
