Given the importance of identifying the nature and manifestations of the parliamentary violations of a member of the National Assembly and what constitutes a disgrace to the prestige of the parliament, explaining the disciplinary responsibility resulting from the violation of those duties and studying them and showing the extent of their inconsistency with the rules of procedure and the prevailing representative norms and developing appropriate solutions for them, this study came with the aim of demonstrating disciplinary responsibility The members of the National Assembly in accordance with Jordanian law have a comparison in some legislations, by stating the truth, nature and definition of the disciplinary responsibility of a member of the National Assembly, the effect of the disciplinary responsibility of a member of the National Assembly and the guarantees established for the accountability of the member, and cases of disciplinary responsibility when breaching the controls of speech within the Council, and failure Attendance and absence from the sessions, and behavioral violations committed by a member for not respecting the representative capacity.

The study reached a number of results, the most prominent of which is that the disciplinary penalties that a Member of Parliament is subjected to during the session are numerous and varied, and their degree of severity varies, which begins with moral penalties and ends with the penalty for dropping membership.

The philosophy of this punishment is that it is not a means to harm a member of Parliament, but rather is a method of correction aimed at Binding the member to the laws and bylaws of parliament and the traditions followed for the purpose of achieving discipline and the progress of work within the sessions, and based on the findings of the study, a set of recommendations were presented, the most prominent of which is we recommend that the Jordanian legislator find deterrent disciplinary penalties that are clear and very clear for the behavioral violations committed by the members in the internal systems in Each of the upper and lower houses, as most of the complaints between members and the resulting violations often end in tribal reconciliations.
