This research studied the role of the export policies in the developing of the sector of Sudanese exports, a case study of gold exports during the period 2010- 2015.

The importance of the study lies in the important role played by the export development policy in the performance of exports, that the export policies can contribute effectively to the development of the export sector through the development of a number of regulation that must be followed to achieve the desired goal.

The problem of the study was the impact of the current export policies on the performance of Sudanese exports and the proposed policies to promote the export earnings, which lead to increasing the state's resources of foreign exchange and the stability of the exchange rate.

What is the regulatory and supervisory role of the Sudan Central Bank on gold exports?The research aims to study the role of economic policies for export development and find the appropriate ones for their development especially the mineral exports (Gold) and find solutions to the problems facing the mining sector in Sudan to occupy a prominent position in the list of exports and contribute to improving the balance of payments and supporting the Sudanese economy.

This study necessitated the following descriptive analytical approach in presenting and analyzing information obtained from secondary sources, namely the references, studies, statistics and reports from the Central Bank of Sudan and the Ministry of Minerals.

The main findings of this study are the following: 1.

Traditional mining provided opportunities for Sudanese labor and contributed greatly to the development of the mining areas, in addition to its role in improving the balance of payments after the exodus of oil from the south.

Despite the pros however, it has many drawbacks.

There is an increase in the mining activity of Gold to increase its production rates, subsequently increasing the contribution of Gold exports to the total exports, the gross domestic product in Sudan during the period (2010-2015).

Sudan has huge mineral and water resources, and Gold is considered to be the most important one.

They are available in large quantities in different regions but have not been exploited so far.

The export of raw materials in its natural form is a waste of mineral wealth, as its manufacture increases the added value, which is reflected positively on the national economy and this necessarily requires combating the smuggling of Gold abroad.

Based on the results above, the study came out with the following recommendations: Encourage and oblige investment banks to provide the necessary funding for both individuals and companies.

Addressing the problems and negative effects of civil and modern mining on the environment and citizens by providing the state with awareness, health and security services for workers in the field of mining.

Development of the mining sector by developing a comprehensive national plan for the economic exploitation of mineral resources, diversification of exports, training and rehabilitation in order to expand the national income base while drawing on previous experiences and experiences of similar countries in the world.
