Conclusion: - The research aims to study the motivations of men to violence against women in the province of Qadisiyah.

The research data was based on the field study for (2018), and the field study included all the administrative units that make up the province urban and rural.

The sample included (456 men) aged (15 years and over), and after the unloading of the answers were used factor analysis as the statistical method best suited to the treatment of research data.

The research reached a number of results, the most important of which is that housing and its characteristics have a great impact on men in the practice of violence against women, as well as the marital status of men and income as factors affecting the phenomenon of violence.

One of the most important motivations for violence against women in Qadisiyah governorate is the tension among men (81.6% ) of men who are violent against women because of tension, of whom (69.8% ) are highly violent (often and always).

And (11.8% ) practice it to a lesser extent (rarely and sometimes).

The research showed that there are spatial variations of violence against women at the level of administrative units in the province.

Sumer and Sudair were the most violent in the governorate, while Al-Muhannawiyah was less violent
