This research is to highlight the phenomenon of expansion and its significance in the Qur'anic texts that are governed by contex.

The expansion of the meaning or its deepening is evident in the transition from a specific meaning to a general one, and the expansion of the word means that the meaning of what the word refers to is more than the previous one, or its scope becomes wider and has the flexibility to cover the largest number of parts and details of the meaning, thus aiding the speaker in various situations, and this expansion enters in the meaning within the implicit connotation.

The Glorious Qur'an paid great attention to the mind as it is mentioned in many verses, reaching (forty-nine verses).

Some verses came to encourage the use of reason and praise those who used it, and others to blame the one who neglects it.

The patterns of expansion have been classified, and the study has shown that the verses of reason are crowded with many patterns for the expansion of meaning, as the expansion may occur in one word, or in a group words.
