Virtual currencies are one of the modern financial trading methods in many countries of the world, which are carried out via the Internet through programs and technologies for computers, without being subject to an organization that regulates and oversees their issuance, the most famous of which is the Bitcoin currency, and these virtual currencies imposed themselves in The global economy arena, which sparked widespread controversy and raised many questions about what virtual currencies are and the mechanism of their circulation, and considering them as an intermediary in them, and investment in them depends on a process called "mining" the currency through which the last currency transactions are verified and new currency units are issued.

This study aimed to shed light on this type of currency from detection of how efficiently this currency is from a technical and economic point of view and to monitoring potential economic impacts if adopted on a large scale.
