Oceans and seas are of great importance in the economies of many countries where the blue economy is structuring the economic activities associated with ocean services to identify the areas underlying economic growth and sustainable development.

This study aims to review the economic implications of Bangladesh's experience in the blue economy and the plans adopted by the government to formulate the right strategy for managing the blue economy.

The Bangladesh experience, where the country is surrounded by three parts, has been chosen and fishing is the country's main activity.

The study found that there were few marine industries invested in Bangladesh because of a lack of sufficient material, technical and human resources to manage the transition requirements of a sustainable blue economy.
