Microeconomic activity forms the main structure of any domestic economic activity.

Microeconomic structure is mainly related to Market system, characteristics of market forces, stability and instability of the market, and potential corrective policies.

Microeconomic policy includes the goals that microeconomic activity seeks to achieve, and the optimal means to attain these goals, foremost of which is improving the citizen's standard of living.

Microeconomic analysis studies normative microeconomic policies, as well as it states the basics of positive microeconomic activity in addition to how to take it into normative position.

Syrian microeconomic activity experience a clear weakness in its planning, and an absence of well-defined microeconomic policy, while plans of Syrian economic activity express some outlines of macroeconomic policy, which represents a planning dysfunction, regarding market system and the management of its forces and equilibriums, that needs to be addressed.

Also, the absence of microeconomic policy affects negatively and substantially the effectiveness of macroeconomic policy, which provides additional incentive to give careful attention to designing microeconomic policy that contribute to enforcing economic activity and improving of Syrian citizens' standard of living.

The research draws a message to the responsible of the Syrian public policies of the importance of designing an effective microeconomic policy that contributes to the optimal management of national resources.
