Objective: The aim of this study was to identify strategies to increase the participation of students and teachers in Farhangian University in congregational prayers.

Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative data has been collected through questionnaires and interviews.

All students, staff and professors working in the girls 'and boys' campuses of Farhangian University in the academic year of 1997-98 were statistically population.

was selected. Results: The most important ways to increase students 'participation in congregational prayers are: holding quality cultural activities, not prolonging prayers, student participation in congregational prayers, raising students' concerns in congregational prayers, timely congregational prayers, beautifying the prayer hall, broadcasting Adhan in the whole campus, management of cyberspace during prayers, presence of officials, employees and professors in congregational prayers, employment of faithful professors in the university, non-interference of class and lunch programs with prayers, setting special time for congregational prayers in the university program Encourage participants in different ways, use a capable imam (young, cheerful, optimistic, strong communication, familiar with current issues, academic) Results: In order to strengthen the participation of student-teachers in congregational prayers, it is necessary to pay attention to all solutions with a systematic view, and with unity of management and coordination and a longterm view, coherent planning and continuous action should be done.

If campus principals pay serious attention to prayer and prioritize it, the increase in student participation will be significant.
