This study aims to uncover to the impact of work pressures among Saudi women on the family atmosphere.

To this aim, the researcher has employed the analytical descriptive approach.

Data and information of the study have been derived from the following tools of the study (e.g., a questionnaire specifically designed by the researcher, scale of professional work pressures prepared by Dr.

Farag Taha and Dr.

Al Sayed Ragheb, 2010).

The basic community of the study intentionally covered an intentional sample group composed of 500 women who are employed in various occupational sectors, and affiliated to different socio-economic levels in the city of Jeddah.

Statistical analyses have been conducted in order to infer the findings and verify reliability of assumptions.

Following are among the most significant findings concluded by the study.

There are statistically indicated differences between average marks obtained by members of the sample group according to the variable of social status in favor of married members.

There are also statistically indicated differences between average marks obtained by members of the sample group in positive family atmosphere according to the variable of social status in favor of married members.

There are also statistically indicated differences between average marks obtained by members of the sample group in negative family atmosphere according to the variable of social status in favor of unmarried members.

Findings of the study further revealed indirect reversed correlation between the scale of sources of work pressures and positive family atmosphere at the indication levels of (0.01 and 0.05).

Meanwhile, there is direct correlation between the scale of sources of work pressures and negative family atmosphere at the indication levels of (0.01 and 0.05).

Findings further pointed out that the most influencing factors of work pressures was occupational sector with a percentage standing at 86.1%, followed by years of active service with percentage standing at (77.9%).

Monthly income comes in the third rank with percentage standing at (69.2 %).

Eventually, the number of family members comes last in the fourth rank with percentage standing at (61.3 %).

On the other hand, education level was the most influencing factors affecting family atmosphere with percentage standing at (81.7%) – followed by age with percentage standing at (72.9%).

Number of family members was ranked third with percentage standing at (65.3 %).

Lastly, the occupational sector was ranked fourth with percentage standing at (57.7 %).

Moreover, findings of the study pointed out that the most influencing sources of work pressures sustained by members of the sample group were incorporated in work requirements with percentage standing at (9.2 %), followed by missing feedback with percentage standing at (9%), lack of information with percentage standing at (8.8%), work burdens with percentage standing at (8.7%), low revenue with percentage standing at (8.6 %), alienation feeling with percentage standing at (8.5%), missing collective work with percentage standing at (8.3%), ambiguity of work requirements with percentage standing at (8.1), conflict of values with percentage standing at (7.9), feeling of inability with percentage standing at (7.8%), punishment with percentage standing at (7.6%), and finally boredom with percentage standing at (7.4%).

The researcher has made a number of recommendations in light of the findings concluded by the study.
