This research aimed to shed light on the attitudes of the Jordanian public towards the reliability of the news published on the websites of the electronic newspapers.

The descriptive approach was used by distributing the questionnaire on the study sample, which consisted of 320 members of the Jordanian public who follow the local and international news through the Jordanian e-newspapers.

One of the most important findings of the research is that the elements of reliability in the websites of the Jordanian electronic newspapers were medium and that the element of freedom was one of the most important elements of the reliability of the electronic newspapers according to the Jordanian public.

Furthermore, the research found significant differences in the attitudes of the Jordanian public due to the impact of the political instability on the reliability of the news in the e-newspapers.

The research also found significant differences in the attitudes of the Jordanian public on the impact of cognitive, emotional and behavioral aspects on the reliability of the news in the websites of the Jordanian electronic newspapers.
