The effectiveness of a behavioral cognitive counseling program in reducing stress among a sample of mothers of autistic children.

The study aimed to identify the reality and level of stress among mothers of autistic children with a age group (3-10), and by measuring the effectiveness of a behavioral cognitive counseling program, the study was conducted on (30) mothers who were divided into two groups: (15) Experimental and (15) control subjects, using tension measurement tools, and a mentoring program, both prepared by the researcher.

The results of the study showed that there is tension among the mothers of autistic children at different levels and that this tension can be reduced through the indicative program that was applied to the experimental group, which showed the result of pre and post measurement there are significant differences in favor of dimensional measurement and stability effect when sequential measurement, as well as compared with the control group This is in favor of the experimental group, and that there is a clear impact of the efficiency of the counseling program and its techniques in reducing the level of tension among mothers of autistic children.
