The aims of this study are threefold: 1) finding out the relationships between Student Counseling (SC), and Psychological and Social Adjustment (PSA) of the Taibah University preparatory year adolescent students; 2) investigating the differences in SC (the four dimensions guidance, learning, social behavior, and the overall score of SC) , and PSA (the five dimensions personal, family, study, community, and the overall score of PSA) scores according to gender (M and F); and 3) according to location (Madinah and satellite campuses).

The study sample was (n =440) 18-20 year old students .

The researcher used an analytical descriptive method, SC, and the PSA scale.

The results show a significant correlation (α≥0.

Among the four dimensions of SC, there were no significant differences between male and female students except in the learning dimension; there were significant differences between the two groups (α≥0.
