The study aimed to detect the effectiveness of employing the second-generation Web tools in the acquisition of skills and trends of the use of cloud computing to the students of the College of Business Administration.

The study was conducted on a sample of 34 students from the College of Business Administration in Afif, Saudi Arabia.

To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher designed two tools (Note card, a questionnaire to measure the degree of sample satisfaction), and used the quasi-experimental approach.

The results showed the effectiveness of the second generation of web tools in developing the skills of using cloud computing for the students of the Business Administration College in Afif and their high attitudes towards them, as well as the results showed that there was a significant differences at the level of statistical significance (0.01) between the average scores of students in pre-test and post-test performance skills in favor of the post-test.

Moreover, There were statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level between the average grades of students in pre-application and post-application of second generation Web trend measure in favor of the post-application.

In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and suggestions, including: raising awareness of the importance and advantages of employing second generation Web applications and tools in the educational process, providing incentives and rewards to encourage faculty members in Saudi universities to use applications and tools of second-generation Web in education.
