This study aimed to investigate The Effect of the Use of the Sukhman Survey Strategy in Developing the Habits of Mind and Problem Solving Skills among the Fifth Grade Students in Jordan.

The number of the participants was (40) Of the Fifth grade Female Students'.

and was divided into two groups, , Studied using the Sukhman survey strategy, and the other an officer of 20 students studied in the usual manner , To achieve the objectives of the study was developed a measure of habits of mind, which is the final version of (40) paragraph, and was developed test skills problem-solving type of multiple choice and the final form of (20) paragraph, has been verified the validity and stability of the instruments, There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the arithmetical averages of the performance of the study groups on the scale of the habits of the mind due to the teaching strategy and for the benefit of the experimental group in the fields of (questioning and asking questions, responding with surprise and awe) , The study showed statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) between the mathematical averages of the performance of the study groups on the problem solving skills test due to the teaching strategy for the experimental group and the positive relationship between the performance of the study sample on the scale of the habits of the mind and the average performance on the skills test Solve problems in all groups and all members of the study sample.
