The current research aims to evaluate the geography curriculum for the fourth literary grade according to the specifications of a good international book and the availability of these characteristics in a geography book.

To evaluate the geography approach, the researcher analyzed the book's content and created a questionnaire containing paragraphs and themes containing the characteristics of a good international book.

Add to the content analysis list.

The study sample was randomly chosen, and it consisted of (30) teachers and a geography teacher in the secondary and middle schools affiliated to his education department, Maysan.

It included (38) axis and was divided into eight paragraphs, namely (paragraph of the general form and the general axis of the book and its typographical output, axis of choosing and organizing the material, the axis of the author, the axis of activities, the artistic axis of book directing, the axis of the educational and psychological dimension, the axis of the technical and technical dimension) Just as a questionnaire was prepared for the axes and paragraphs to analyze the book of geography, and a questionnaire was established for criteria forthe characteristics of a good international book for the same content.
