The study was conducted in Iraq / Babil Governorate, and it aims to identify the effect of the teaching journey model on the achievement of the first-grade intermediate students in the subject of science and coordination thinking for them.

The following: - chronological age calculated in months, PARENTS science degrees in the mid-year of the academic year (2019-2020), Daniels' IQ test, the coordination thinking test) and the research sample consisted of (50) students of (25) (A student for the experimental group, and (25) students for the control group, and one of the researchers taught the two groups the topics that were previously identified, and the researchers and the validity and reliability of the tool was verified, and the researchers used the T-test.

And the chi-square and the Pearson correlation coefficient for data processing, and after applying the test to the two research groups, the results showed the superiority of female students of the experimental group who studied using the teaching journey model over female students The control group who studied in the usual way of teaching, as the calculated T value reached (3.010), which is greater than the adult tabular T value (3.085), which confirms that teaching the science subject for the first intermediate grade using the teaching journey model is more effective than teaching it in the usual way of achievement and coordination thinking
