Collingwood (1889-1943) is an English philosopher of history, who was primarily concerned with the nature of history and how it can be understood, the approach used to do so, and the defiance of this historical approach from other areas of research, he does not care much about what Anthropological claims, such as whether time is real or not, the basic question is how to understand the past, the possibility of historical understanding, interested in historical forms of understanding and how to employ them, philosophy has a constantly moving mental activity and not a closed cognitive pattern, and Collingwood has employed his system Knowledge in the test of art and artwork in order to reach the right art and how to distinguish it from false art, so he criticized the aesthetic approaches that he believes have failed to reach art, critics of art and academic aesthetics, and presented his existing vision that the origin of the artwork is not a material medium but is intellectual, sonic, conceptual constructions.
