The study aims to clarify how to evaluate taxonomy management tools to help organizations organize their knowledge and experience using taxonomy management tools and choose the best ones for them.

a multi-case studies method was used to study three tools for taxonomy management, as well as the comparative approach to make a comparison between three of the taxonomy management tools.

some tools were selected with the aim of studying and making a comparison between them, which meets the following conditions: that the type of tool be commercial, is not free, and that the possibility of experimenting with the tool is available either through direct registration on the site and the possibility of trying the tool online or by downloading, and so the following tools are selected : poolparty, topbraid and multites.

the study showed the scarcity of Arabic studies that dealt with the topic of taxonomy management tools.

one of the most important results of the research was to identify the most famous taxonomy management tools, as well as clarifying how to apply the evaluation criteria for taxonomy management tools for the three selected tools.

poolparty outperformed with 71% followed by topbraid by 65% and finally the multites at 39%.

the awareness and media factor also played an important role in introducing the subject of digital transformation and electronic services, by setting up various awareness campaigns that helped to introduce available electronic services and expand their use, and other factors that had a positive impact on the process of digital transformation in the sultanate.

the study recommended the necessity of defining and introducing the available electronic services and promoting them, by utilizing technologies such as the different media as well as the social media networks, so that they are recognized by the beneficiaries and then expand their circle of use.

the scope of partnership can be expanded within the private sector in the implementation of digital transformation projects.

it can also help in making them contribute in providing financial needs, and the continuation of projects, in addition to investment in the information technology sector, and the need to continue to exchange experiences with other countries, through holding meetings, conferences and exhibitions in areas related to technology and its future directions, to ensure compatibility with it and the continuity of its development.
