Economic Planning of Suez Canal Governorate It is concluded from the research study that Suitable areas for agricultural planning of Suez Canal governorate approximates 1440.4 km 2, as divided into three sections with percentage of 34.6% , 42.6% and 22.8% of the total area.

In this respect, Suitable areas for industrial planning in the governorate of Suez Canal approximates 3.9 thousand km 2, divided into three suitable high, medium and low levels of 53% , 31.8% and 15.2% respectively of the total proposed spatial area.

Such suitable areas for tourism planning is 1006.8 km2, and they are distributed by 21.1% , 35.3% and 43.6% of the total proposed spatial areas for tourism planning in the study area
