The research aims to study the role of language at Carnap in achieving the unity of science, By discussing the following questions: How did he view language as an activity? Did it have one function or multiple functions? Hence, the most important question arose: Is it possible to achieve unity of science by creating a coding language? this principle is one of the most important principles of its general philosophical concept, he intends it for scholars from various disciplines to cooperate with each other and with philosophers and to speak a common language, by unity of vocabularies.

He rejected the prevailing view in contemporary German philosophy that there is a fundamental difference between the natural sciences and the humanities, all the sciences: physics, biology, psychology, sociology, ethics, and other sciences are one science.

He sought to convert this principle into a theory related to language, following the shift in his linguistic position from virtual language to physical language, and the content of this theory is that the global language that includes all knowledge can be built physically, as the physical language is a suitable medium for representing the world.
