Supplication performs important argumentative functions in the discourses it is employed.

Thus, its function transcends religionization of speech, as it creates a persuasive power that helps the speaker to build a communicative bridge full of trust, and to appease the addressees and draw them to conviction.

In this regard, the stylistic component helps writers to formulate this powerful supplication rhetoric and provides them with the required construction tools.

This research aims at clarifying the stylistic roles in shaping supplication rhetoric through examples of Al-Jāḥiẓ’s Letters with an analytical approach, employing rhetoric, for a set of stylistic techniques in the application process.
