الملخص EN

This study aimed at evaluating the instructional design curriculum of the master of instructional Technology at Sudan University of Science and Technology in the light of the total quality standards by determining to what extent the objectives and content of instructional design curriculum actualize the total quality standards، and by knowing the appropriateness of the teaching methods، teaching aids and methods of evaluation used for the total quality standards.

The study also aimed at detecting the obstacles facing the application of the total quality in instructional design curriculum.

The study used descriptive and analytical approach.

The sample consisted of (30) students.

The data were collected by three tools: questionnaire، interview، and content analysis list.

The study concluded that the objectives and content of the instructional design curriculum actualized the total quality standards.

And that the teaching methods، the teaching aids and the evaluation methods used to measure learning outcomes fit the total quality standards.

The study also revealed that there are some obstacles facing the application of the total quality in the instructional design curriculum.

The study provided some recommendations which we hope will be useful in the improvement and development of the curriculum e.g.

increasing the duration of the curriculum by teaching it in two semesters ، the provision of assistive teaching devices، providing training for the department of educational technology، and the formation of committees to review and develop the curriculum periodically and compared it with the curriculum of international universities to bring about the desired development
