Television drama is a tool of societal influence, both as a means of leisure and as a source of development of the public's culture, and contributes to its social development by providing it with information, as it has many features that make it a prominent feature of television material, with attractions and the ability to draw the attention of the target audience.

The study examined and analysed the impact of exposure to Indian soap operas, public opinion of the values presented and their reflection on their societal values, as well as the values (religious, social, family and economic) of the Indian drama presented in Arabic space and the way in which they were handled, as well as the extent to which Palestinian university youth were exposed to them and their relationship to their community values.

The study showed the most important results: The study showed that the proportion of people watching series in general, both regular and irregular, was 86.7%.

Arabic serials were the most favored, with 45.4%, followed by Hindi series, 34.6%.

The study showed that 77.3% of people watching Hindi series were regular or irregular, which shows that they were able to do so.

Emphasis should be placed on the need for parental oversight of their children, the elimination of channels that present such series and the useful enrichment of their children's time.
