The purpose of this study is to reveal the level of psychological Burnout and methods of coping with work Stressors among Appointed Members of the Civil Defense in jordan, and discover if there is a relationship in psychological Burnout and methods of coping with work Stressors, also to discover the difference between psychological Burnout and methods of coping with work Stressors according to the following variables (gender, military rank, military service).The study sample consisted of (300) employees of the Ambulance, Rescue and Firefighting units in the Civil Defense Directorate in West Amman.

They were selected in Purposive Sample to achieve the aims of the study, the researcher developed two measures, the psychological burnout scale, the methods of coping with work Stressors scale, and verified for validity and reliability.

The results of this study showed that the level of psychological burnout came at "moderate" level.

And the relaxation method came at "high” level.

The methods of emotional and social support, cognitive control, coping and dealing with the Stressor event came at "average” level, as wll as the methods of avoiding dealing with the Stressor event, unhealthy behavior and aggressive and attack came at "low" level.

Also, the results of the study revealed that there is an negative relationship between psychological burnout and the positive methods of coping with work stressor.

And that there is an Positive relationship between psychological burnout and the negative methods of coping with work stressor.

The results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological burnout and methods of coping with work stressor due to gender or military service.

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of psychological burnout and were in favor of individuals.

The results also showed statistically significant differences in the positive methods of coping with work stressor and were in favor of the officers, as well as the existence of statistically significant differences in the negative methods of coping with work stressor and were in favor of individuals.

The study recommended to work of Therapeutic counseling programmes that is aimed to reduce the level of psychological burnout among appointed members of the civil defense in jordan.
