The study aimed to identify The level of performance mathematics teachers in the higher basic education stage to possess mathematics communication skills in Gaza City-Palestine.

The study used the analytical descriptive method.

The sample of the study was (43) teachers were selected stratification randomly from the education directorates in East and West Gaza.

It has been applied the study tool which observation card consisted of (67) paragraph distributed on the five mathematics communication skills in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019.

The results showed that the level of performance of mathematics teachers in the higher basic education stage to possess mathematics communication skills it came in a moderate degree, where the relative weight reached (75.32%) and it is available to a medium degree.

While the teachers ’performance levels on the sub-skills varied between large and medium, the level of writing skill performance reached a large degree and a relative weight (78.38%).

The rest of the skills, the level of performance came in a medium degree, as the relative weight of the skills of reading, speaking, listening, and acting reached 77.29%, 76.60%, 76.21%, 68.63%, respectively.

The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences of performance level of the mathematics teachers in the higher basic education stage to possess mathematics communication skills in Gaza City- Palestine returns to the Education directorate and to the teacher's gender and the experience.
