Thinking is at the forefront of our daily lives and has a major impact on our daily behaviors.

A vital role in the success of individuals and their compatibility within the educational institution and outside of its impact on the performance of academic educational tasks and school tests and then in relation with others and the requirements of work and therefore, the chances of individuals in success diminished if teachers do not provide expertise Suitable for students' education and training to carry out mental habits necessary for academic tasks and general tasks outside of the educational institution.

The current search aimed to identify: 1- Methods of thinking among mentally superior students.2- habits of mind in students who are mentally superior.3 - the relationship between methods of thinking and habits of mind in the students who are mentally superior.

The research sample consisted of (200) mentally superior students.

In order to achieve the current research objectives, the researcher prepared the appropriate tools for the research, where she adopted the Sternberg & Wagner 19991 list to measure the thinking methods of (65) items distributed over thirteen A method of thinking (legislative, executive, governance, global, local, liberal, conservative, hierarchical, royal, minority, chaotic, internal, external) for each method (5), and the researcher also built a measure of habits of mind consisting of (38) paragraph distributor On four areas (active listening (8), driving (11), pivoting The psychometric conditions of the above metrics were verified by extracting the discriminatory power of the two scales using the two extremes method, and the relation of the degree of the field to the field.

Stability was extracted by the mid-split and Fakronbach methods.

After completing the previous procedures, the researcher applied the two study criteria on the research sample of the outstanding students.

Using the appropriate statistical methods, the results indicated the following: 1- Mentally superior students prefer the thinking method (liberal, judgmental) more than other methods of thinking according to the Steinberg list, while students do not prefer superior thinking methods (executive, conservative, minority, royal, chaotic).2 - Mentally superior students prefer the mental habit (showing personal leadership) more than the rest of the habits, although they enjoy all other mental habits.3 - There is a positive correlation between the methods of thinking and habits of mind.

In the light of the results of the present study, the researcher came up with many recommendations and suggestions.
