The aim of the current study is to investigate the impact of two strategies of imagination in expressive performance of pupils in the primary stage The study was conducted in Iraq/ Babylon governorate.

An experimental design is adapted to two experimental groups and one control group for males and females according to the experimental method.

The population of the study consisted of the fifth primary grade in the primary schools of the general directorate of education in the governorate of Babylon.

The researchers selected a sample consisted of six groups, two of them are experimental and one is control for boys, and two experimental and one control groups for girls.

The researchers made an equation among the pupils of the sample.

The groups were equal.

The researchers used the appropriate statistical tools: (analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficient, Chi-Square and sheveh method).

The results reflect that the two experimental groups were better than the control group in a significant statistical point at 0.05.

In the light of the results, the researchers concluded the following: Imagination (oriented or visual), has a significant effect on the expressive performance of the pupils.

The two strategies (oriented imagination and visual imagination) help teachers in improving their objectives in the lesson, because it lessen effort and time and information will remain in the pupils' minds for a longer time.

The researchers recommended the following: Training teachers of Arabic language on using imagination strategies (oriented and visual) because it will develop the pupils' expressive performance.

Distributing explanatory booklets contain samples of oriented imagination and visual imagination on the teachers of Arabic language.

The researchers suggest the following: Conducting a study on: The effect of some of the imagination strategies on understanding the poetic image on the pupils in the primary schools.

The effect of some of the imagination strategies on the expressive erformance of the students in the immediate or preparatory schools.

The effect of some of the imagination strategies on the development of imaginative reading and imagining events in (Reading and Texts) in intermediate or preparatory stages.
