The production institutions are often faced with an obstacle to how to control and plan production in an optimal scientific manner, so this research was used to model the planning decisions of the production process at the Rafidain plant to produce the cooked cheese 100g according to a model suitable for the sample data using the MRP system by issuing the production and purchase orders for raw materials Within certain time periods after the preparation of a proposed alternative plan based on the expected demand of the product within one year and thus achieving a high utilization rate between the available and planned capacity in comparison with the current production of the plant.

The results of this research resulted in the control of quantities produced, capacities and stocks in various forms through careful balancing of the main materials of production and the quantity of raw materials required for production, which resulted in the reduction of the total costs significantly.

Finally, the research recommended raising the shares of the sample product due to its competitive specifications imported products.
