This research seeks to study the reality of domestic violence in Ras Al Khaimah society, identify the types and forms of domestic violence, study the causes of domestic violence from the point of view of women who have been subjected to violence, as well as study the psychological effects resulting from domestic violence.

This research also aims to identify the demographic variables that are related to domestic violence.

What the woman has been exposed to, such as age,work, monthly income, and educational level, as well as knowing who is the person who has practiced violence against women (such as parents, husband, brothers or a relative) and studying what form of violence the woman has been exposed to.

This research is part of descriptive research that requires us to use the descriptive survey method .

This research covered three areas: The human sphere: determined in a sample of battered women from the Aman Center for Women and Children in Ras Al Khaimah.

Geographical field: A questionnaire was applied to an intentional sample of battered women from Ras Al Khaimah.

Time range: This research spanned two months (October-November 2021).

Sample: Purposefully selecting a sample from some battered women from the Aman Center for Women and Children in the Ras Al Khaimah community, where the total sample size was 30 women.

The most important results: - The results of the research revealed that women were subjected to all forms of violence.

- The results of the research revealed that the causes of violence that got a high percentage of the battered women's answers were nervous, suspicious, jealous and clinging to ignorant ideas.

- The results of the research revealed the negative effects that resulted from women's exposure to violence, which are anxiety, frustration, depression and loss of self-confidence.

- The results of the research revealed that the parents (father and mother) who practiced violence against women the most
