The special features of Khalid Ibn A1 Waleed such as broad experience in planing and fighting, wisdom, courage, firmness and his ability to solve the problems in serious conditions are the reasons behind selecting him to lead the Islamic conquest operations in Iraq in 12 H7633A.D and to face the preian empire ofgeart military and mterial powers.

This research eoncerns with some parts of Muslims conquests under the leading of Khalid Ibn al Waleed in Iraq, which extended from the south of Iraq to near Al-I-Iirah, gives a brief for the descent of Khalid and his family, deals with the year in which he had entered in Islam, sheds line on the positions of Muslims in Iraq before Khalid coming, and determines the position from which the Islamic army had entered and the reasons behind selecting it.

Research also deals with the details of battles in which Muslims under the leading of Khalid Ibn A1 Waleed had engaged Persian armies and had achieved speedy and sequent victories whieh enable them to conquer many eities, and among those battles:- That Al-Salasil at Kadima, Al-Mathar at the east bank of Tigris river north Bsrah, Al-W'alga at south-west Euphrates river, and AL-Lees south Al-Hirah.

I will God willing continue my study for the rest conquests in the later research.

This research aims to give this subject an independent study because of its importance and richness in useful experience and good lessons that will help the Islamic and Arabic nation to re-new itself.ُُ
