Homeland has a supreme value within dwelling within its sons, a safe haven for those who love it in its arms.

It forms a rich spring where poets drink creative energy from it, for they have found their desired intimacy and belonging images, they have felt massive gravity in its particles that invades their very existence and attracts their hearts.

Do it lived within their souls, and they dwelled under its shade, preferring the heat in it over the sweetness of another.

Homeland represented a high value in the poet FadilMukhaddir.

It clearly appeared in his poetry, for the homeland theme has conjured a grand attention by the poet, and took a vast and important space in his poetry collection called (a connection of soil), in which he showed a superb ability in investing his artistic creativity tools to raise the voice of homeland, to spread affection in the hearts and to surround it by a holy aura filled with faith and diligence.

Based on what I have stated previously, I will in this research try to shed light on the homeland theme in (a connection of soil) collection of poetry by Fadil Mukhaddir.

The nature of the research demanded that it consists of an introduction, a preface that included two points, the first introduced in short the poet Fadil Mukhaddir, and the second made a brief introduction on the homeland theme, then moving to the poetry scripts world which lean on the homeland pillar depending on the energy of the analytic descriptive methodology, finally the conclusion presents the most important results of the research, followed by the references list.
