Tolerance is a divine blessing that we must observe, which is confirmed by the heavenly laws in their various books and the seal of the Noble Qur'an, and from God, the Blessed and Exalted, over our beloved Iraq by the grace of the diversity of its social and religious components.

In peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance, the church represents one of the main pillars of the Christian religion, as it reflects the religious, social and cultural aspect of society, and plays an important role in the case of peaceful coexistence in the Islamic society, as its survival until now is the best evidence of that, and the spread of Christianity required the existence of Private places of worship, Religious rituals are practiced there, so there was an urgent need for the presence of private buildings (churches) for worship, religious tolerance and community coexistence, including in Iraq, and the Virgin Mary Church (Armenian Orthodox Church) is one of the symbols of religious and societal diversity in our dear society, and it is a living witness to the awareness of the citizen The Iraqi and his humanity, and all of the foregoing is reinforced by our self-desire and the consistency of this topic with the objectives of the first international intellectual and, The necessity of the research necessitated that we divide it into an introduction and two axes.
