This research discusses the importance of homeland and its rights especially the fundamental ones that contribute primarily to its development and security.

The researcher has used the inductive descriptive approach to show religiously and socially the value of the homeland and its rights called for by Islam and supported by religious texts.

The study is divided into an introduction, a preface and six sections.

The first theme discusses patriotism; the second one deals with loyalty to homeland; the third one sheds light on homeland security preservation; the fourth one highlights the issue of developing homelands; the fifth one clarifies the national commitment; and the last one sets forth the preservation of cultural and social components.

The research findings have confirmed the importance of homeland in human life.

Patriotism is recognized as a natural instinct confirmed and well supported by Islam.

What is also emphasized is that securing the homeland is of a common interest and being loyal to the leadership is a legal necessity to protect it.

Furthermore, the study asserts that a good citizen is the one who endeavors to build his homeland as only by good citizens are homelands secured and developed.

On the other hand, homelands embrace and protect their people who strive and rally to support their leadership facing life’s difficulties and its fluctuations with patience.
