This research aims to show the most important rights that consumers should enjoy in law and compared to their counterparts in Islamic jurisprudence.

The research included an introduction, four sections and a conclusion, in addition to the most important findings and recommendations.

The researcher dealt with the consumer and his rights, including the right to return the commodity and replace it, the seller’s guarantee of defect, the consumer’s knowledge of the necessary information related to the commodity that the seller must explain, as well as the safety means that protect the consumer from injustice and fraud.

The study used the descriptive, inductive and deductive method that suits the nature of the research and helps to achieve its goals.

The discussion ended with a conclusion that included the most important inferences and some recommendations.

The overall research result was that the legislations concerning consumer rights in the laws under study agreed with Islamic jurisprudence in some regulations and disagreed with it in others, while Islamic jurisprudence excelled with other legislations that protect consumers.

The study also made several recommendations, the most important of which is that there are no rights other than those mentioned in this study may be subject of scientific research.
