Nationality is considered as one of the most important of legal bonds in the society because it connects a person with the government.

It clarifies borderline between a national person and a foreign person in term of his/ her relationship with the government and in term of using his/her rights and confiding him or her with duties.

Naturalization is one way of giving a person nationality and it is awarded according to his request and after fulfilling specific conditions.

It is called a nationality after birth because the person is awarded nationality during his/her life after his/her birth without depending on date of birth.

Nationality law no.26 Of 2006 has inadequacies and it had be better if legislator treats problems of this law such as dual nationality of naturalized person and this negatively effects on his/ her belonging, nationality, and assumed sovereign position in the government, as well as, there is contradiction in article no.4 with articles of law.

The study is divided into two sections to clarify conditions of the naturalization.

The first section includes concept of naturalization, definition, and its conditions while the second section, it includes legal effects of naturalization and it is clarified individual and social effects of naturalization.
