The phenomenon of corruption is described today as one of the biggest challenges and obstacles preventing the development and advancementsocieties, and the shrinking of the state of law and institutions, with a great waste of material and financial resources and a threat to human rights.

This necessitated us explaining the impact of economic corruption on development and treating it from the perspective of Islamic economics.

Therefore, this paper aimed to establish concepts related to the treatment (implantation of observance of God and the Almighty and the development of Islamic values, spreading awareness, selecting qualified people, honesty) at the level of society in line with Islamic thought .This paper relied on the inductive and analytical approach, relying on previous literature and research that have a direct relationship to the research topic to address corruption from an Islamic perspective .The study concluded with some proposals to confront corruption and are considered a guide for society .Accordingly, the paper suggested that the basic principle of treating economics from an Islamic perspective should focus on selfcontrol and honesty
